The goal of Wednesday Child Program is to find loving home for children in the foster care system. So, every once in awhile, we like to get you up to date on where some of the children featured on Wednesday Child are now. Most of the children are adjusting their new lives in their new homes.
We met Brandon on a hot summer day and the quite boy of science became a football hero. Brandon's new family consists of a mom, dad, two sisters and a toddler brother. When we met Brandon he told us he likes animals. Brandon will have a chance to add a new animal to his list of favorites this summer when he gets his own goat; it will be added to his new family collection of pets and goats. He'll also be going camping this summer with his new family.
When we introduced you to high-flying Isaac we mentioned that we would be adopted with his brother Dominick. We'd planned to introduce you to Dominick in a separate Wednesday's Child feature but we never got the chance. Before we put it together the boys' new family said it was "love at first sight". The family began calling them "my sons" right away. The boys will join two other sons and a daughter. They even get to stay in their same school and will be able to continue to see safe relatives.
Our sibling group Nevea and Cole are also adjusting to live in a new home. They proved they loved adventure during out day at Wildlife Images. These siblings were successfully reunited with Cole's twin brother in their adoptive placement! We didn't meet him during our feature of the two because he was living in another foster home. Their adoptive family says they feel privileged to be able to make that happen for these special children.
The family is heavily involved with the local school, supporting the children's special educational needs. So, as it with all of the children we profile on Wednesday's Child, we wish them luck in their new lives and we send our thanks to the families opening their homes and their hearts to these wonderful children.

I've never seen goats as
I've never seen goats as pets, but I guess that if Brandon is happy, we're all happy. I'm curious whether my toddler will have a special kind of preference regarding animals. I'll have to wait and see, he's still in the soy baby formula period. I've understood that kids grow up fast, though, so I guess he'll let me know soon.
