NEAR ETNA, Ca. - Sheriffs are looking for a 77-year-old man missing from his home in Northern California.
 
Search officials say James Travis Hardaway left his home in his 1977 blue Ford pickup around 6 p.m. Tuesday. They say Hardaway suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and may be headed to the San Leandro area where he previously lived.
 
Hardaway was last seen near his home on Miners Creek Road, which is a rural area south of Etna.
 
A helicopter has been requested from the California Highway Patrol to conduct an aerial search of the surrounding area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office.
