EAGLE POINT, Ore. - Police say an Eagle Point toddler has drowned after climbing into the family pool Sunday night.
 
When emergency responders arrived to the home on Meadowfield Circle just after 8 p.m. Sunday night, parents were performing CPR and trying to revive the 2 year-old girl. The child was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center were she was pronounced dead.
 
The Eagle Point Police Department is still investigating the drowning.
 
According to department protocol, whenever a case involves the death of a child it's required for the case to go before a team of individuals with the Child Advocacy Center to determine if any charges will be pressed. That meeting with take place on July 10th.
 
Police hope to complete their investigation by that date.
