MEDFORD, Ore. - Instead of jumping from the Willamette to Napa valleys, wine lovers are now planning Southern Oregon into their trips.
In less than 10 years, the number of wineries between the Roseburg and Ashland areas have nearly tripled.
RoxyAnn Winery in Medford says visits to its tasting room and winery are up about 10 percent over last year.
Pascal Winery in Talent says it's seeing more visitors who come for both the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and wine tasting.
RoxyAnn says their new grower's market and Friday concert series also help to attract visitors.
