HAMBURG, Calif. - Investigators are trying to determine what caused a house fire that killed a man in Hamburg, along Highway 96.
The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office is not releasing the name of the victim, but neighbors say 72-year-old Gordon Wolf lived alone at the home and used a wheelchair.
The county arson team says the fire broke out Tuesday afternoon. The home and garage were destroyed.
Investigators do not believe it is arson, but the cause is still unknown.
