ASHLAND, Ore. -- The Southern Oregon University Annual Ashland Ski & Board Swap takes place this Saturday.
 
The swap includes used gloves, clothing, skis, snowboards, boots and bindings. The items will be sold at consignment. SOU's Outdoor Program receives 20-percent of the proceeds, while the sellers receive the remaining 80-percent.
 
"We're a little later this year on our sale. We think we're anticipating a greater number and we'll see how the cookie crumbles. I'd like to believe that folks would want to generate some more cash flow and would come consign their items," SOU Outdoor Program Coordinator Erik Sol said.
 
The consignment will be held at McNeal Pavilion at SOU. New equipment will be on sale upstairs in Britt Hall.
 
The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
