ASHLAND, Ore. -- Ashland police say a woman is in critical condition after a hit-and-run accident.
 
According to authorities, 54-year-old Eileen Brennan was on Ashland Street near Clover Lane late Saturday when she was hit by a pickup that left the scene before officers arrived.
 
Investigators think the suspected vehicle, a red pickup without a canopy, backed into her and dragged her for several feet.
 
Police are not sure if the driver of the truck knows what happened, or if they fled.
