S. Oregon shelters, restaurants hosting Thanksgiving dinners

MEDFORD, Ore. - Many Southern Oregon churches, restaurants and shelters are opening their doors to ensure everyone has a warm meal on Thanksgiving Day.
 
The Medford Gospel Mission hosted its annual Thanksgiving turkey dinner Wednesday afternoon. Nearly 300 people attended.
 
Cafe Dejeuner is preparing 16 turkeys for its annual Give Back to the Community Turkey Dinner. Doors open at noon Thursday and the meal is completely free.
 
In Klamath Falls you can get a free meal at the First Baptist Church at High Street, dinner begins at noon and runs until 1:30 p.m.
 
In Grants Pass meals will be served at the Grants Pass Community Center. Doors open at 11 a.m. Reservations are required, call 541-474-2202
 
In Medford meals are being served at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center beginning at 2 p.m. The center is also dropping off meals for people who can't drive.
 
St. Vincent de Paul will serve its regular meal at 11 a.m. However, it isn't a turkey dinner.
