GASTON, Ore. -- State police say a 62-year-old man died Monday night when his pickup traveled off Highway 47 south of Gaston and went down about 250 feet.
Troopers say it appears neither nor speed nor alcohol contributed to the crash that killed Alfred Spry of Gaston. The road was wet and Spry was not using safety restraints.
Troopers from the McMinnville office are continuing the investigation.
