PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Bonneville Power Administration says the El Nino weather pattern has forced it to cut its hydropower revenue forecast this year by more than $230 million.
 
The regional power marketing agency says the unusually dry weather in the Northwest means there will be less water for Columbia River dams. BPA had estimated it would have revenue of nearly $232 million for the fiscal year ending in October. Now it's projecting a loss of $6 million in net revenue.
