Bend based Les Schwab is paying out two million dollars to settle a discrimination lawsuit. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued the tires centers four years ago saying it discriminated against women. the EEOC says the company wouldn't hire women to work in the tire bay, a job that is a prerequisite for moving up in the company. Les Schwab has agreed to periodic reports showing it's following anti-discrimination policies.
