MEDFORD, Ore. - Snow caused trouble for many drivers on mountains and passes across Southern Oregon and Northern California Friday.
Oregon State Police spent much of the afternoon untangling accidents and helping stranded motorists, who say the biggest problem was wet snow that made for slick roads. Trucks and cars lined the sides of roads as drivers put on chains.
A four-car pileup took place along Highway 140. No one was hurt in the accident.
