MEDFORD, Ore. - Christmas is around the corner, and many cities in the Rogue Valley are hosting holiday events.
Medford's tree lighting ceremony took place last weekend in Vogel Plaza, and downtown businesses say it was a great boost to their bottom line. In fact, many businesses want the city to host more events.
"I'm kind of surprised, because a lot of people don't know we're here yet, and they sort of stumble on us," said Linda Outfleet with 22 Crowns Design.
22 Crowns is among many downtown businesses seeing more foot traffic this holiday season.
