MEDFORD, Ore. -- Clean Energy Works Oregon launched in Jackson and Josephine counties today.
The program helps remodel homes to make them more energy efficient by providing affordable loans, energy assessments, and contractors.
Along with helping homeowners go green, this program will also help create jobs in the construction industry.
Clean Energy Works Oregon has a short-term goal to remodel 6,000 homes in Oregon over the next three years.
To be eligible your home must be in Jackson or Josephine counties, it must be owner occupied, and built before 1993.
