ROGUE RIVER, Ore. -- A Southern Oregon company that designs communication equipment for the military is expanding
Radio Design Group is breaking ground for its new facility, which is expected to bring 15 new jobs.
The company chose the site in Rogue River in part because of a five-year property tax exemption for "highly compensated" jobs; jobs that pay 150% of the Jackson County average.
But executives say that wasn't the main reason for expanding in Jackson County.
Building and equipment is estimated to cost four point $4 million with construction set to finish next summer.
