WHITE CITY, Ore. -- Students in the Eagle Point School District received free hearing, vision, and dental exams Friday.

The Community Health Center provides the free annual exams. Dental hygienists say that for many kids, it was the first time they ever received a dental exam.

"Last year, the Community Health Center provided 657 dental screenings and almost 1,200 vision screenings. This year, 884 kids are getting their teeth checked out, and 1,233 vision screenings," says Eagle Point School District Nurse JR Rothenburg.
