Wyden says Klamath Co. primed for job stimulus programs

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Senator Ron Wyden says Klamath County is primed to take advantage of a federal government initiative to create jobs and stimulate the economy through infrastructure projects.
 
Wyden said to Congress that they could be ready break ground in 60 days.
 
Local officials named a variety of options, from opening up industrial land at the airport through road construction to construction of passing lanes on Highway 97.
