    Leonard Nimoy, who played Mr. Spock on Star Trek, died at his Los Angeles home Friday. Nimoy's wife confirmed his death to the New York Times. The 83 year old was suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, he attributed to his years of smoking.
