MEDFORD, Ore. - The first Oregon Green Expo kicked off at the Medford Armory Friday.

Organizers say the event is more than just being environmentally conscious.

"Public education, helping people understand to gain a knowledge of what they can be doing to improve their lives," said Don McCoy, Oregon Green Expo Co-Founder.

The event also features panel discussions on green living.

The expo will run through the weekend and wrap up Sunday at 4 p.m.
