The Idaho Statesman reported Monday that the unit of the Oregon National Guard will begin its relocation on Tuesday.
Runway repairs and upgrades at the Klamath Falls base prompted more than 200 Oregon Guard members and 22 F-15 fighter jets from the 173rd to temporarily move to Boise.
Officials have said the temporary arrangement was expected to generate from $3 million to $5 million for the Boise area economy.
