GP man charged with arson in motel fire

GRANTS PASS, Ore. - A Grants Pass man is under arrest, charged with arson after police say he sparked a motel room fire.
 
The incident occurred at the Redwood Motel on 6th street Monday morning. Firefighters worked to put out the fire, while employees evacuated neighboring rooms. No one was injured but there was significant damage.
 
Investigators say 48-year-old Mark Titcomb started the fire.
 
Police are charging Titcomb with arson. The investigation is continuing.
