MEDFORD, Ore. - The level of swine flu activity has significantly decreased across the U.S. and Southern Oregon.

However, travel this week for the Thanksgiving holiday could effect those numbers.

Southern Oregon experts say they don't expect to see a large outbreak after Thanksgiving, but says there could be another spike after the Christmas vacation when school children return to class after the break.

Doctors say if you are feeling ill, not to travel this week. They advise waiting at least 24 hours after your fever is gone naturally before getting on a plane. Its also best to avoid touching things that don't belong to you.

Most airports have installed hand sanitizing stations. In larger airports, there are also first aid stations with facial masks and other items.
