MEDFORD, Ore. - At least three flights out of Rogue Valley International Medford Airport were delayed Wednesday morning because of fog.
Medford Airport officials say they started to catch up from delays by the afternoon. One of the delayed flights was originally coming in from Portland. It had to circle several times before it could land safely in Medford.
Officials are reminding people to get to the airport early and be patient.
Triple A estimates about 86-percent of Thanksgiving travel will be done by car. It predicts only six percent of holiday travelers will travel by air, a nearly seven-percent decrease from last year. Officials say that's due to budget concerns, reduced capacity and added charges.
