MEDFORD, Ore. - Wood stove burning is now restricted in the Medford area due to poor air quality.

Jackson County Air Quality officials have designated Monday a 'Yellow' day, which means burning is allowed on EPA certified stoves with no smoke, and no burning is allowed on non-certified stoves.

You can get permits to exempt you from the restrictions through the Jackson County Environmental Health Division. You can also call 541-776-9000 to hear the daily Wood Stove Advisory.
