OSF ticket sales slow

ASHLAND, Ore. - The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is offering a slew of ticket specials for the 2010 season, which kicks off Friday night.

While OSF saw a record breaking year for sales and tickets sold in 2009, things are getting a slower start this year.

"Ticket sales are a little behind from last year. At this point they are well ahead of budget. So we are really happy with the way things go," said Bob Hackett with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

OSF managers say only about 14 percent of its ticket sales are to Southern Oregonians. The remaining 85 percent are sold to people who come to Ashland.
