Kitzhaber stops in Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. - Oregon Gubernatorial Candidate John Kitzhaber is in Southern Oregon talking with voters and small businesses.
 
The Democratic nominee attended a roundtable discussion with local business owners hosted by Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Wednesday.
 
The former governor says creating jobs is a main focus of his campaign. If elected, he wants to put people back to work weatherizing public schools across the state.
 
He says it could also save the Oregon Department of Education millions of dollars in energy costs.
