MT. ASHLAND, Ore. -- The winter storms that passed through our area in the last week spelled good things for ski areas around our area.
According to their websites, all the major ski areas in our area are at least partially open.
Mt. Ashland will be running all of its lifts this weekend. It opens today at 9 a.m. and has twilight skiing until 9 p.m. Friday night.
Mt. Shasta, which got snow for the first time all season this past weekend, will be running all its lifts as well. It also is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday.
Mt. Bachelor has all but two lifts open, but says the possibility of the summit lift opening soon is very good. Mt. Hood ski areas will also be open this weekend.
