    Today is the Last Day to Mail Ballots

    The last day for mailing ballots is today. The Jackson County elections office recommends to mail ballots no later than the Thursday before the next Tuesday elections. Over 50 election workers are processing incoming ballots.

    A rape suspect wanted for sexual assaults in several states, including Oregon, was arrested Wednesday morning. Massachusetts State Police said Gregory Lewis was arrested shortly before midnight in Fort Edward, New York, near the border with Vermont.
