ASHLAND, Ore. -- An Ashland company is looking to help new mothers remain in the workplace.

Female employees who have babies are faced with the dilemma of getting childcare and going back to work, or staying at home. Dreamsacks is giving it's employees a new option, to bring their infant to work. It's part of the nationwide 'Babies at Work' program.

The program is structured with rules. The parents are responsible for the child's safety, but if a parent is busy on a phone call or meeting, the child is cared for by another staff member appointed by the parent.

At least 15 companies nationwide have launched the program in the last 18-months, including FD Thomas in Medford.
