MEDFORD, Ore. -- A new non-profit organization is helping families at risk of foreclosure.

Building Hope is being funded by the Jackson County Homebuilders Association, with assistance from NewsWatch 12 and the Rogue Federal Credit Union.

The program provides advice on dealing with banks and avoiding foreclosure. They also have counselors to help families deal with the feelings associated with the process.

"The people we've helped already, you can see the results. They may have not reduced their chance of foreclosure, but it's stabilized their family, that's what we're really after," says Pete Cislo with the Jackson County Home Builders Association.
